Transforming school decorative lawns into native, low-water usage plants not only reduces water, but it also creates a space for native wildlife and science classes to enjoy.​

As food waste and uneaten foods become a bigger issue, we are trying to tackle it through composting and recovering uneaten foods at our school. 

A big part of One Green Step is our community outreach. It's our opportunity to raise awareness about environmental issues and inspire others to help through One Green Steps.

Having an environmentally-curated free library—made from old, wooden fences—at school allows students and community members to quick browse and learn more about environmental topics.
