Join Us
We would love to have you join our club at Oak Ridge High School. Our club focuses on personal actions we can take to better the environment. Meetings are every Tuesday during lunch in room E-6.
Our meetings will vary from learning about an environmental innovation or issue to hands-on activities that get us actually involved in helping the planet. Our club focuses more on individual actions that can be made, along with changing and influencing our school and community.
This was a collective action around California to push Governor Newsom to pass SB 1374—a bill to allow schools to use their solar energy generated on site instead of repurchasing at market price, so the money can go back to the schools.
